Products Description

Fine Synthetic Diamond

Hope HMD synthetic single crystal diamond features fine to ultra-fine grains (60/70–800/1000 mesh). It offers a complete

hexoctahedral structure, golden-yellow color, low impurities, and high transparency.

The HMD series comprises fine to ultra-fine synthetic single crystal diamond (60/70–800/1000 mesh). It features golden-yellow crystals with complete hexoctahedral structure, low impurities, high transparency, and excellent strength, toughness, and thermal stability.

Suitable for metal, electroplated, ceramic, and resin bonds, it is used in cutting, drilling, grinding, and polishing tools. These enable high-speed precision machining, improve surface smoothness, flatness, and accuracy, reduce material loss, and minimize post-polishing. Applications include optical glass, ceramics, semiconductors, magnetic materials, sapphire, silicon, and gemstones.

Ultra-fine grains also serve as raw material for high-grade PDC composites. Their hexagonal and octahedral forms maximize packing density and diamond volume, enhancing intergranular bonding. This results in PDC with superior wear resistance, impact resistance, and thermal stability over traditional micron powders.

HMD100

Features: Primarily hexahedral/octahedral/isometric crystals, highly regular structure. Minimal inclusions/bubbles. Accurate sizing, yellow color, excellent transparency. Exceptionally high impact toughness and thermal stability. 

Applications: Used in diamond cutting/saw blades for difficult-to-machine materials like hard alloys, composite superhard materials, and superhard ceramics.

HMD80

Features: Complete hexahedral/octahedral/isometric shapes, regular structure. Few inclusions/bubbles. Accurate size, yellow color, good transparency. High impact toughness and thermal stability. 

Applications: Ideal for non-metallic materials: ruby, sapphire, optical/auto glass, mono/polycrystalline silicon, engineering ceramics, and magnetic materials.

HMD60

Features: Hexahedral/octahedral/isometric shapes, >95% complete structure. Few inclusions/bubbles. Accurate size, yellow color, good transparency. High impact toughness and thermal stability. 

Applications: Ideal for non-metallic materials: ruby, sapphire, optical/auto glass, mono/polycrystalline silicon, engineering ceramics, and magnetic materials.

HMD40

Features: Hexahedral/octahedral/isometric shapes, 90% complete structure. Moderate inclusions/bubbles. Accurate size, yellow color, moderate transparency. Relatively high impact toughness and thermal stability. 

Applications: Ideal for brittle non-metallic materials: ruby, sapphire, optical glass, mono/polycrystalline silicon, carbides, and plastics.

HMD20

Features: 70% complete crystal structure, high impurity content, moderate impact toughness and thermal stability.

ApplicationsLow-load grinding/cutting of glass, edge rounding of quartz/carbides, semi-finishing of flat glass, chamfering of dental materials, and beveling of glass furniture/mirrors.

HMD10

Features: Irregular sharp crystal shapes, high impurity content, excellent brittleness, good self-sharpening, and incomplete structure for enhanced retention. 

Applications: Ideal for resin/ceramic bond tools (long service life) and low-demand electroplated tools. Used on steel, hard alloys, magnetic materials; polishing ceramics/stone; jewelry setting; dental grinding;

rubber cutting.
